How did the Founder first become interested in technology?
Wayne started working with Bulletin Board Systems and then Dial-up internet in the mid 90s. Offering him a method of communication with software, users, and technology that fascinated him. He found himself tinkering with hardware and upgrading his family’s personal computer. Since then he has obtained 3 diplomas in technical fields of networking and software development.
How did SMRT Computer Solutions start?
Wayne Wallace previously worked as a developer for over 15 years. While working in software development, he found himself assisting family and friends with technical questions and issues. Combined with his technical skills, these people skills compelled him to ensure that family, friend, or customer, he would provide quality service. Since Wayne was trained not only in software development, but also network infrastructure with Microsoft and Cisco certifications, he felt compelled to start assisting customers with the experience he had to offer. Since then SMRT Computer Solutions has successfully grown to support Powassan, North Bay and all other surrounding areas.
